What is Project Homeless Connect?

Project Homeless Connect is a one-day, one-stop event on Jan. 25 at Centennial Hall, designed to connect services to people experiencing homelessness.

Services include: employment, housing, food, legal services, medical, dental, vision, mental health and substance abuse, haircuts, massage, foot care, and more.

What is Point in Time Count?

The Point-in-Time Count is a one-day count of unsheltered and sheltered people experiencing homelessness.

People who are counted include adults, children and youth who live on the streets, in parks, abandoned buildings, stairwells, tunnels, bridges, outbuildings, campgrounds, tents, shelters, hotels, motels, apartments by voucher, transitional housing, housing for runaway youth, emergency shelters for victims of domestic violence, etc.

The Point-in-Time Count numbers are used to obtain funding for programs that serve homeless people. The event occurs nationwide on one-day every January.
