Join In the Fun!   AmeriCorps members will plan, prepare, and serve lunch at the Glory Hall Emergency Shelter in collaboration with the Southeast Alaska Foodbank for approximately 70 people in honor of Martin Luther King Day.

AmeriCorps members encourage others to get out and volunteer or donate to your community in some capacity.  Individuals can participate by donating money or essential items to a charitable cause.  Most non-profit organizations serving people have a list of their donated needs.   You can also volunteer at a senior center, an animal rescue organization, or your local public library.   There is a multitude of ways to contribute to your community….find your calling and get out and participate.  Serve United!
