You must live in the state of Alaska You must be a US National or citizen (depending upon the situation, noncitizens can receive food stamp benefits) All members of household applying for food stamps must show proof of applying for or already have a social security number You cannot exceed a certain level of income (this number will vary depending upon the size of household) You cannot exceed a certain monetary value of particular assets If you are fit to work, you must either take part in a training program, take work or continue to work at your current job |
