United Way of Southeast Alaska Hires New AmeriCorps Program Manager

Juneau, July 28, 2017 – The United Way of Southeast Alaska is pleased to welcome Romee McAdams as the new Americorps Program Manager at United Way of Southeast Alaska. She comes to United Way of Southeast Alaska after numerous years in healthcare operations and higher education. Romee has spent most of her career in the non-profit sector and is excited to join United Way of Southeast Alaska.

Among her many accomplishments, Romee has experience as a director of planning & development for a large Native health consortium where she facilitated and drafted the strategic plan for the consortium as well as oversaw grant and program development and data integrity.  Along with a master’s degree in Leadership & Organizational Studies, she also has experience in staff development, quality improvement, and national accreditation.

Originally from Montana, Romee has called Alaska home for over twenty-one years. She enjoys working on regalia and spending time with her husband and three children. Romee started with United Way of Southeast Alaska on July 27, 2018. United Way of Southeast Alaska looks forward to her leadership and management of the Americorps Program.
